本文提出了在强碱性催化剂三(双三甲基硅基氨基)稀土化合物作用下,NCA不仅3-NH会发生去质子化反应,而且4-CH上也会。对于后一个去质子化反应,此前一些学者认为“非常不可能(very unlikely)”。我们通过捕捉和表征反应中间体,详细证明了NCA的4-CH上质子的酸性,不仅提供了NCA在碱性环境中外消旋现象的微观证据,而且对于Bamford教授提出的另一种活化单体(碳负离子化的NCA)提供了直接证据,证实了他对于强碱催化N-取代NCA(如肌氨酸)聚合机理的猜想。该论文被选为J. Polym. Sci. Part A: Polym. Chem.(2012) 第18期的封面文章刊出。
首次使用氨基封端的聚乙二醇(PEG-NH2)作为引发剂,便捷地合成聚醚-b-聚肽。利用PEG嵌段对聚肌氨酸(PSar)嵌段的增溶性,实现肌氨酸NTA的可控聚合,所得产物具有很高的产率(> 90%),很窄的分子量分布(< 1.2),肌氨酸嵌段的长度可由投料比控制。聚乙二醇-b-聚肌氨酸(PEG-b-PSar)是一种新型的双亲水嵌段共聚物,可以作为乳化剂,使有机液滴在水中形成稳定的纳米和微米尺寸的液滴,也可以在特定的有机溶剂中形成不同形貌的胶束粒子,并且具有封装金属离子的能力(Cu2+和Ni2+)。PEG-b-PSar无毒、生物相容和可生物降解的特性,使其成为一种很有应用前景的环境响应型表面活性剂,可用于食品、化妆品和医药等领域。
